Our Programs

Our athletes learn to train as elite athletes do, while developing skills to not only enhance performance, but master lifetime habits of success on and off the field. We provide the highest standard of sports performance training, within an environment that stimulates growth, confidence, and respect.

"Over 40 years of Combined Coaching Experience

Our comprehensive two-day per week program trains all of the qualities needed for an athlete to perform at the highest level; flexibility, power, speed, agility, plyometrics, core conditioning, and weight training are built into every workout to catalyze balanced athletic development.We do this by first building the athlete's ability to move with proper technique. Once technique is mastered, we work on building strength. Finally, we build power by challenging athletes to use their new strength functionally in scenarios that would elevate their sport performance. Our highly experienced staff offers over 40 years of combined coaching experience at the youth, collegiate, Olympic, and professional levels.This allows our programs to provide athletes of all ages and varying skill levels the opportunity to develop and improve all aspects of athleticism in a structured, hard-working and FUN training environment!Our programs are for any and all ages 12+Next Session Starts In:

    Youth Training

That's why we've created training camps for youth athletes aged 12+ and adults who are looking to improve their confidence, skills, and fitness. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, our programs are designed to help you achieve your goals.

    Our Team

    Director & Founder

    Director Moe Butler started EXCELerated with the goal of bringing elite training to the northeast corner.Serving as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Olympic Sports Performance at the University of Connecticut, Coach Moe has been professionally training athletes of all levels since 2004. At UConn, Coach Moe is responsible for all aspects of training the Men's Ice Hockey and Softball programs. Prior to her current team assignments, Coach Moe worked directly with Women's Soccer, Baseball, Men’s & Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country, Women’s Ice Hockey, Swimming and Diving, and Women’s Volleyball. She has contributed to 17 conference championships and 11 ECAC/IC4A championships. In addition to team accomplishments Coach Moe has worked with over 70 All-Americans and several MLB and NHL draft picks.From June 2007 to December 2009 Coach Moe had the opportunity to work with the U-18 Women’s Ice Hockey national team where they won the first gold medal at the IIHF World Women’s U-18 Championship in both 2008 and 2009.Prior to her full time appointment at UConn, Coach Moe served as an assistant program director at Be Athletic where she was responsible for training and mentoring young athletes in their off-season.Coach Moe has presented nationally on topics including: developing hockey players, developing baseball players, performance nutrition, creating a competitive training environment and working with the injured athlete.Originally from the Hudson Valley, Coach Moe was a 4-year letter winner, All-American, and 3-time team captain at the University of Connecticut in the sport of field hockey.     Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

    Coach Rozzi joined the EXCELerated staff in Head Coach capacity in 2022.He currently serves as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning coach at the University of Connecticut overseeing all aspects of training for Men’s & Women’s Track & Field, Cross Country, and Field Hockey.Prior to his current team assignments, Mike has overseen all aspects of training for Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s & Women’s Swim & Dive, Women’s Lacrosse and Men’s Golf. In his time with his teams Mike has been part of several conference championships and worked with numerous All-Americans.Prior to Mike’s current position he completed Sports Performance Internships with UConn and Coastal Carolina University. Earlier in his career, Coach Rozzi served roles such as the Director of Events for NUC Sports, specializing in high school football combines & showcases nationwide.  Michael spent 3 years with Palisades Park High School (NJ) in a dual role as an assistant varsity football coach and assistant strength & conditioning coach.  Additionally, Coach Rozzi was a youth & high school athlete performance coach from 2008-2010 at Schuman’s Elite Training out of Wyckoff, NJ where he trained athletes in both one on one and group settings.A native of Monroe-Woodbury, NY, Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Coastal Carolina University and his Master of Science degree from Liberty University.  Prior to transferring to Coastal Carolina, Mike attended and played football for the State University of NY at Cortland.Coach Rozzi currently resides in Willington, CT.EDUCATION:- Master of Science: Exercise Science and Wellness Fitness and Performance (Liberty University)

    Coach Cusson first joined the EXCELerated staff in 2022.He currently serves as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Connecticut where he designs and implements the strength and conditioning programs for Softball, Women’s Volleyball, and Women's Swim & Dive.Prior to UConn, Kyle served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Trinity College, overseeing all aspects of training for Men's and Women's Track & Field, Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Squash, and Women's Crew.Earlier in his career, Coach Cusson served in roles such as certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and strength coach at the youth and high school levels.A native of Springfield, MA, Kyle earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College.Coach Kyle currently resides in Ludlow, MA with his wife Karina and Aussie Shepard, Hattie.EDUCATION:- Master of Science: Strength and Conditioning (Concordia University of Chicago)
